Petite and Blue woke up bright eyed and ready to go the first day........................
MIL called to see how BLUE'S first day went
Did not ask about Petite
Reminded her that it was Petite's first day as well
said I know, I didn't forget how was her day--SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS IN PRESCHOOL. SHE did not remember that she was in Kindergarten. THought she went to a different school, and asked if she wore a uniform and what time she got out of school. HAD to EXPLAIN that they go to the SAME SCHOOL this year and SHE GOES FOR THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME and yes it is REAL school.
Day 2
Blue home with a stomach ache
Petite
woke up
wanted to wear gym uniform
not gym day
wore navy shorts
screamed and cried the whole way to school that she isn't pretty
teacher had to pry her from me

ReplyDeleteYeah, I've been getting the "didn't Politician go to kindy last year?" crap when I mention that he just started. Um, that was pre-k...same school, but seems like some fuss should be made over him starting real-K, right? Hope Blue is better!
